VIENNA, Va. (March 2, 2022) – Navy Federal Credit Union announced relief options and resources for active duty servicemembers currently deployed or deploying with the US Military due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Relief options and resources include financial guidance for deployment.
“We’ll always take care of our members so they can focus on their mission. We’ve done so in the past and will continue to in the future,” said RADM Dietrich Kuhlmann USN (Ret.), Chief Operating Officer at Navy Federal. “Navy Federal is supporting those who are being deployed by providing financial assistance for those individuals who may need it.”
To assist with the hardships of deployment, Navy Federal has a deployment checklist members can follow, in addition to tips and resources.
Eligible members can apply for Emergency Relief Loans up to $5,000 and fee waivers by contacting Navy Federal 24/7 at 1-888-842-6328, or by a local branch or eMessage. Members can access their accounts and information through mobile and online banking, and the credit union’s worldwide network of branches and ATMs.
“Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine during this time, and all the servicemembers deploying in this crisis,” said Kuhlmann.
