U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Tristan Norman assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), sends buckets of dirt, using a pulley system he built, down to a wet-screen station during a recovery mission in Sekong Province, Laos, Feb. 19, 2022. There are currently 289 missing service members from the Vietnam War believed to be located in Laos. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for U.S. personnel to their families and our nation.

Sailors and Marines of Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th MEU are underway conducting routine operations in U.S. 3rd Fleet.

PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 22, 2022) Lt. Olivia Czerewko, from Lemoore, California, assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51, prepares for flight operations aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105). Dewey is assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 and is underway supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific. CTF 71/DESRON 15 is the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
